Magnetic Signs and Car Door Magnet Signage

Magnetic Signs are a great way to advertise your business. People love magnetic signs because they can easily be removed if you have to change your message or don't want permanent vehicle graphics.

What is the best size for magnetic signs?

The most common size for magnetic signs is 18" x 12".

18" x 24" signs are good if you have a larger truck but measure your door first. You do not want your magnetic sign to be too big.

Magnetic Signage for Vans or Van Panels: The panels (the area inside the indented area on the side of most cargo vans) on the side of a van are usually about 22" tall at the rear end of the van. When you put magnets on side of van, I suggest keeping them to about 21" x 42".

Magnetic material usually comes on a 24" roll. That means you can have a magnetic sign 72" long or even longer by up to 24".

Why do magnetic signs fly off? How do I keep magnet signs from coming off my vehicle? Why do I lose my magnetic signs? Strongest cling magnets:

Usually it's not about the cling of the magnet. Usually if you lose your magnet sign its because you didn't have it COMPLETELY FLAT against your door or whatever area you put your magnetic sign on. Look out for going over badges or even having your magnet go over the crack on your door. Anywhere wind can get under the magnet signage is a place where magnets will get blown off. Remember, most people drive at about 60 mile per hour or more! That's going to blow a magnet off it the magnet is not flat against the door.
